Game Update: New Features and Improvements
This update brings a robust set of enhancements and expanded content, unifying renders, animations, secret images, dialogues, and playtime into a single cohesive experience. The update includes:
- Renders and Animations: Approximately 2,300 renders, including 16 secret images and 3 animations. Old secret images have been updated, and new ones added, encouraging players to revisit them.
- Dialogues and Narrative: Over 1,300 new dialogues and 24,000 words have been incorporated, particularly in the reworked prologue, which now offers a deeper and more engaging narrative. The average reading/playtime is around 2 hours and 35 minutes, considering only the story content.
Prologue Rework
The prologue has been completely revamped to establish a stronger narrative foundation, with significant improvements:
- Prologue Statistics:
- Renders increased from ~600 to over 1,400.
- Dialogues grew from ~100 to over 1,300.
- Words expanded from ~1,000 to over 24,000.
- Reading time increased from 20 minutes to approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Story Changes:
- Amelia: Her connection to other characters and the impact of the MC leaving the orphanage have been expanded.
- Jonathan and MC: Their friendship has been deepened, with clearer insight into its evolution and changes in the present.
- MC and Emily: The MC’s love for Emily, the main love interest, gained more context with special scenes and memories.
- MC: His journey, from leaving the orphanage to arriving in the city, has been reorganized for greater coherence.
- Samantha and Hank: Their interactions highlight Samantha’s crucial role in uncovering Norah’s secrets.
- Juliana: The first meeting with the MC feels more natural now.
- Matilda: Her introduction has been strengthened, emphasizing her future relevance.
- Other Characters: Marta, Kim, Lorena, Raphael, Bruna, Nicole, and Danielle received more detailed introductions, enriching their early stories.
- Prologue Access:
- Existing Players: Available in the Replay Menu (from the main menu or within save files). A one-time prompt will ask if you wish to watch the new prologue when loading a save (optional but recommended).
- New Players: The reworked prologue will play automatically when starting a new game
Complete UI Redesign
The interface has been fully overhauled to improve usability and aesthetics:
- Main Menu: Now features wider screen previews with well-edited images, making it more interactive.
- Save and Load Menus: Returned to horizontal pagination, with modernized save slots, retaining features like corrupted save recovery and cloud saving.
- Preferences Menu: More compact without losing functionality.
- Gallery: Split into Secret Images and Replay Scenes, organized by character.
- Help Menu: Redesigned for easier navigation.
- In-Game UI: Updated navigation buttons, inventory, activity menu, and phone UI.
- Higram (in-game social media):
- Includes a personal profile section to view shared photos and community reactions.
- Cloud save token unified with Higram, allowing recovery of the photo gallery and achievements.
- New versions prioritize recent version screenshots.
- Color Palette: Adjusted for richer blacks, improving text readability.
Technical Details
- Version and Compatibility: Due to the scale of changes, the version is named 3.00.0. After extensive testing, existing saves should remain intact. If issues arise, use the “Fix Broken Save” function.
